Fishing on the Susquehanna River (Perryville, MD) in the fall for smallmouth bass can sometimes put doubts into your head about if a big one even exists there... But when your 11 year old son ties on a live minnow, and then pulls in one bigger than you have ever caught, it is quite the day for a father to be proud!

I just wanted to thank everyone on their wonderful comments. I can't stop thinking about going back out on the water to catch some more. Next time any of you go fishing go to the marina and buy some live minnows. I bet you that when you get on the water those bass will be bitin'. Just some helpful tips by a young fisherman:)
