DAM Quick 110N Left Hand Crank Reversable?

by Cary Mieras
(Jenison, MI, USA)

I have a DAM Quick 110N. The crank handle is set up for left hand cranking.

Is the Quick 110N fishing reel reversible? Can the handle crank be changed (reversed) to right hand drive?

Not reversable...

Cary,

Unfortunately, the DAM Quick 110N model is left-hand retrieve only.

However, the 110 model can be switched from left hand to right hand retrieve.

DAM Quick 110 Bail Spring Repair

Need to know if I can get the bail on my DAM Quick 110 fishing reel repaired...? The reel is in great shape and I believe that it's just the spring, but I'm all thumbs.

DAM Quick 110 Trip Lever For Bail Reassembly Problem

by Bill
(Colorado Springs)

I recently replaced the bail (coil) spring which activates the bail, which had broken on my D.A.M Quick 110 fishing reel.

However, now that I have put the reel back together, the trip lever which locks into the slot in the angle lever will not slide in the slot to lock the bail in place (nor does it appear to fit the slot very well - the sides of the trip lever are not parallel with the sides of the slot). And when trip lever does move to release the bail, it does not want to slide down the angle lever to the resting position on the angle lever stop. Rather, it binds up on the edge of the angle lever.

I have checked the parts diagram, as well as pictures of the reel on line, and it appears I have assembled this portion of the reel correctly. The angle lever spring appears to be strong and in good shape.

I have spent an hour puzzling over this, assembling and reassembling the reel without solving this problem. Help???

Looking For A Quick 110N Replacement Angle Lever

by Norm

I am looking for angle lever for a DAM Quick 110N fishing reel. Part number is 910-3934. A 110 part does not fit. It has to be a 110n.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm willing to pay what ever it costs.

Thanks!

Angle lever replacement part...
by: Jason

Hi Norm,

Just a suggestion... if you can't find an angle lever for your 110N, perhaps you could buy another used 110n reel just for it's parts. Here's some DAM Quick 110n reel and parts being auctioned off.

Good luck,
Jason

DAM Quick 110 Fishing Reel Value And Manufactured?

by Jessica
(Louisburg, North Carolina)

I have a DAM Quick 110 open face spinning reel. I was given a few of these fishing reels, but don't know anything about them. Please help...

I would like to know what year they were made?
When they stopped making them?
And do they have any value?

Thank you,
Jessica

Manufacture dates and value...
by: Jason

Hi Jessica,

The DAM Quick 110 model reels were first manufactured in 1967. (The 110N came out in 1974. And the Microlite began in 1961.)

Their value seems to range around $25-$100, depending on their condition. It also helps to have the packaging paperwork that came with. Here are some DAM Quick 110 reels being auctioned for sell to help give you a better idea about what they could be worth.
