1 of the 5 Striped Bass We Picked A Fight With



My father took my sister out to fish. My sister had just gotten in a fight, and so as punishment she had to go fishing with my dad and I. My sister hated fishing after a falling out of the boat incident.

I thought getting her up at 4 a.m. would be the highlight of the trip. But, as one of the poles bent over and the line began to peel out on the lake, that idea vanished.

We had a great trip catching five stripers. All not bad in size either but the biggest win was converting my sister to a fisher of the deep.


Youth Versus Striped Bass

What a nice and creative way to turn a negative incident into a positive outcome. And it sounds like all three of you won by going on that striper fishing trip.

However, you might have to reconsider the punishment the next time... do you think your sister learned her lesson? ;-) (I'm joking of course.)

Those are some really nice looking striped bass. Did you happen to weigh them? That one looks to be around 40 pounds.

The Striper ended up weighing 44.5 lbs. My sister did end up learning her lesson and actually started a fishing club for young girls. It was such a positive outcome I recommend it for anyone.
